Poster Information
Virtual posters for ISMB2021 are posted here as pdf files or on the ISMB2021 YouTube channel as short videos. All posters (pdf and video) are listed above.
We opted to have no “traditional” time-specific poster sessions or breakout rooms in ISMB2021, to be fair to all presenters and participants that come from different parts of the world and may not be awake at the same time. Participants are encouraged to go through the posters (pdf or video) and use the presenter’s email (usually on the poster, but anyway not so difficult to find in the Google era) to ask questions or even arrange a time and platform of their choice for further discussion. We are aware that this almost eliminates the interactive nature of poster discussion that we are used to, but it was the price to pay to allow more colleagues to show their work through posters at this online meeting.
ISMB2021 participants can view the posters at any time (before, during or after the meeting). Posters shall remain posted as long as their presenters/creators wish, and as long as this website and ISMB2021 Youtube channel are online.

Pdf posters are hosted on this page. Presenters can use any size or format (one 3×4 foot pdf, many A4 or Letter-sized pages, etc.) as long as they keep the size of the pdf file BELOW 10 MB.
Video posters are hosted on the ISMB2021 YouTube channel. You can put anything you like in the video (record yourself presenting a poster as normal, give a powerpoint talk, etc.) as long as the video duration is no more than 8 minutes. Video format should be compatible with YouTube.
Poster files can be submitted by email, WeTransfer or a similar service, or via Dropbox. Presenters have received detailed instructions by email.
